Rules
Nobody likes them, and we don't want to have to enforce them too much, but these are the rules and this is what's going to go down.
ONE: Never never never mix up IC and OOC drama. We lose too many good players that way! And it's simply wrong. If you have a problem with someone try to solve it, and if the problem still isn't settled then bring it to the Mods. We'll help you resolve the situation at hand, so that everyone is happy.
TWO: No godmodding whatsoever! If someone is godmodding, tell the mods right away and we'll see that it'll never happen again. Also, it's flat out lame for someone to practically tell you/your character what to do. If we see this happening you will get a warning, and if after the warning it still continues we will delete you.
THREE: You must update your character at least every two weeks, come on AIM, participate in the game through comments/threads, show some sign of life that you are still out there and dedicated to your character. We know real life comes before this game, but if you need to be away from the game we ask that you ask the mods for a hiatus, it will be granted. Though if we do not hear from you after the time of your hiatus we will delete you. We're hoping that you'll update more then that though. It's a lot more fun to have a moving friends list than one that hardly ever moves.
FOUR: Journal named need to have SOMETHING to do with your character. We understand that journal names, and AIM names are harder and harder to come by, but we know that will a little will power you will be able to think of one. Please use minimal underscores and X's.
FIVE: If you have any OOC issues and need a hiatus, please contact the mods about it so we know for sure who and is on hiatus. You may also post in the OOC community to let the other players know how long you plan on being gone for, so that lines don't get messed up because of an absence, also see rule THREE for more information.
SIX: Experienced writers please! We can not stress how annoying it is to have only a once sentence log per reply, or in a journal post. If you have been accepted into the game, then that means you must be a good writer, so demonstrate that quality in your journal posts, threads and AIM scenes. With that said, you can not go missing for three weeks, update a sentence and expect that to be suitable for participation are surely mistaken, if we see this repeat itself you will be warned, if it is not taken care of you will be deleted. Those of you that are detailed and love RPing, join right away.
SEVEN: Writing must contain correct spellings and punctuations. Not everything has to be capitalized, we don't want to see any of this; i l0v3 vAmP!r3$, spell check is your friend and we know you can use it. We know that not everything will be done to perfection, but please do it so it is legible and other players will understand you.
EIGHT: We usually don't see this happening, but if for some reason you don't feel as though the PB you are using fit the background or you just made the wrong decision in whom you would like to be then you get one chance to change. Once and that's it. Don't abuse it. Also, a mod needs to be informed and approve the change before you can use him/her.
NINE: No more than two characters per person, we want everyone to have an equal opportunity to play in this game, and sometimes two players if more than one person can handle. If you already have a character that's not very active and you try to apply for another, we won't accept the application. If you already have two players and want to apply for another, you must ask a mod and we must be able to see that you are capable of handling another character.
TEN: Storylines are all up to you guys. As long as there isn't rape, murder, suicide or cutting. Yes, those are real life situations, but not everyone does those. As for pregnancies, contact the mods before you do the line. Maybe two or three girls can get knocked up, but not the entire female population. No baby booms! Pregnancies last 5 months. Also, there will be NO MPreg, some are into it and other's aren't, we're trying to keep this as realistic as possible.
ELEVEN: PBs are one of the most important parts of the application, mostly anyone is welcome, this is not an all SCENE community, they are welcome but we also welcome and encourage you to use more mainstream models, actors and actresses! If we see too much scene we will put a hold on them. Not every Vampyre has to have black hair, eyeliner and painted black nails, this is a diverse community and we welcome anyone. However the banned must happen and that applys so far to; Your Myspace Friends or ANYONE we can't find on Google.
TWELVE: Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals - we love them all. Like pregnancies, not everyone is going to be gay. Two out of every six people is cool, but if we see that there is an influx of gays, we will ban them (though not forever). This is a FAIR PLAY community, we are not homophobe's we just want an equal ammount of characters.
THIRTEEN: As for RPing in the main community, please use the following format.

And all logs should be under a LJ cut. Anything NC17 MUST be marked and if it isn't the thread will be deleted without a second thought or warning. We are not going to be responsible for your decisions, everyone makes mistakes, but this is a MUST REMEMBER. If you don't want your log lost, mark it up.
